Does your child want to perform in a Musical this Spring?

Mr. Malcolm, the Director of our Children's Theatre, has decided to put on a Spring Musical this year! Children aged 5-9 will be performing "Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Musical!" and children aged 10-17 will be performing "The Adventures of Peter Pan, The Musical!". Rehearsals will run from 4:00PM - 6:00PM Monday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's. Registration will be limited, we will be accepting applications on a first-come, first-serve basis, so sign up early to secure your child's spot!

Rehearsal Dates: April 19 - May 20, 2021
(4/19, 4/21, 4/22, 4/26, 4/28, 4/29, 5/3, 5/5, 5/6, 5/10, 5/12, 5/13, 5/17, 5/19 and 5/20)

What does a family of bears do when their porridge is not just right...they go for a walk. What happens when your daughter wants to watch too much tv and not get any exercise....you send her on a walk. Along the way, they will meet all sorts of characters like Snow White, Humpty Dumpty and maybe even a few Minions! Be a part of an original musical version written by Mr. Malcolm and Claudia Pellligrini!

Children aged 10-17 will be performing "The Adventures of Peter Pan, The Musical!"

See three young siblings meet Peter Pan and Tinker Bell as they fly off to Neverland! When they arrive, they meet the Lost Boys, Island Warriors, bumbling Pirates with their infamous leader....Captain Hook! Be a part of this time honored classic written by Mr. Malcolm and Claudia Pelligrini as a phenomenal musical!

Auditions:
To ensure a great start to our Spring Musical, we will be holding Auditions on the following days and times before the first night of rehearsal on Monday April 19, 2021

-	April 17, 2021 from 12:00PM - 4:00PM (Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Musical, Ages 5-9)
-	April 18, 2021 from 12:00PM - 4:00PM (Adventures of Peter Pan, The Musical, Ages 10-17)

Please attend the correct day for auditions. Mr. Malcolm guarantees everyone who signs up will have a named meaningful role in the production with at least 5 lines in the performance! :)

What song can you sing at auditions? Anything! Some suggestions:

-	A Holiday song of their choice
-	A Broadway song of their choice
-	A pop song of their choice
-	Happy birthday!

Show Days:
The performances will be on Saturday, May 22nd and Sunday, May 23rd. Each child will perform not only once, but twice! "Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Musical!" will perform at 10:00AM Saturday and Sunday. "The Adventures of Peter Pan, The Musical!" will perform at 1:00PM on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets will be reserved with social distancing in place. Tickets will be sold as a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be sold exclusively to only friends and family of the children signed up for the Spring Musical. Ticket sales will be limited by the state of NJ department of health guidelines at the time of the performance.

Registration closes on April 9, 2021.. We need to have this completed form in our hands before then. Return this completed application along with payment to the Broadway Theatre of Pitman, PO Box 118, Pitman, NJ 08071. Submit your application early to ensure availability for your child(ren).

NOTE: Safety protocols will be adhered to. Social distancing will be in effect, masks must always be worn, and a temperature check will be taken at the door. Please do not bring your child to rehearsal if he/she is ill. Children who have a fever or are taking any medication for an illness should not attend rehearsal.

Payment to Mr. Malcolm's Spring Musical is completely non-refundable for any reason whatsoever. If the state of New Jersey allows theatres to remain open with limited capacity, social distancing, and CDC guidelines and restrictions, this activity will go on as scheduled. There is a limited number of applications we are accepting, we will be accepting them as a first-come, first-serve basis.
